Song of Solomon 2:1 NKJV

We can say that Jesus Christ as the Son of the Most High God, the bright and morning star, takes on the role for himself, the rose of Sharon, and the lily of the valleys, being present and among his people on the earth.  They find easy access to him; as well as, beauty to be readily captivated.  When rejoicing they were amazingly clothed with roses and lilies.

The rose was considered for its beauty and all its aroma of fragrance.  As the chief of flowers, our Saviour, Jesus Christ, preferred the clothing of the lily rather than all the splendor of Solomon in all his glory.  The gospel of salvation is a common salvation; wherein lies open to all; whosoever will may come and receive the grace and mercy that He offers.  Jesus is not locked away for only the rich, kings, priests, and etc., but he is available to whosoever wills and will come to him and receive Him, the rose of Sharon and the lily of the valleys.

No matter how low life has taken us, He is the lily of the valleys, or of the lowest places, in all his humiliation, injured beyond recognition, carrying the sins of the world, the humbled souls see healing and deliverance only in him.  Whatever we may be in need of we can find the answer and help in the rose of Sharon and the lily of the valleys; Jesus Christ!!
