One meaning for faith is: Complete trust or confidence in someone or something. A strong belief in God or in the doctrines of a religious organization.
Many who by faith walks with God and he gives them marks of evidence of his favour, and places honour upon them. Without such a faith to help us to walk with God, a faith with actions, of which we cannot come to Him unless we have faith to believe that He is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. We must; not maybe, believe that God is; and that who he says He is in scripture, that, He is. We must believe who he has revealed Himself; being of Infinite perfections, that he is One in the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost; we must believe that in Him there is no sin and that he sent his only begotten Son, Jesus Christ to be born of the virgin, Mary; and for his Son, Jesus to die on the cross for the sins of the world.
We must believe that he is. and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. To think back and remember at a point of beginning, through the first man Adam, we had lost communion, image and likeness, life eternally, with Him. But then, through restoration and his love, grace and mercy, he provided a way through Jesus Christ, the second man, that we may be restored back to Him.
After seeking diligently and finding Him there will never be a point of regret in the effort spent seeking after him. For therein the seeking was found peace, joy, love, hope confident, strength, life and much more in Christ Jesus. I have faith in Him, I believe in Him, I believe who He says he is, I believe and trust in his promises because: God is faithful, God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? (Numbers 23:19 KJV); and If we are faithless, he remains faithful, for he cannot deny himself (2 Timothy 2:13).
