Proverbs 27:5 NKJV
There is such, a correction given in love by a true friend filled with zeal and courage that is far better than insincere acts of affections. It is dangerous to be caressed and flattered by one, whose kisses are deceitful. A reproving to them for what they say and do amiss, this is really better, and far greater than secret love. Faithful are the reproofs of a friend, though for the present time they are very painful as an open wound. It is a sign that our friends are faithful indeed if, in love to our souls, they will not suffer sin upon us, nor let us alone to stay in it.

Solomon states in Proverbs 1:7 that "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction." This is an inspiring exaltation of the importance of wisdom and knowledge. The following verses of the Holy Bible are intended to expand our understanding of life's basic instructions.
