Paul points out in writing to the Corinthians and to the present Christians that all must be mindful not to use what belongs to Christ as though our bodies belong to us by dishonoring him with it. His focus is found in verse 13...Now the body is not for fornication, but for the Lord; and the Lord for the body. The Lord is for the resurrection and glorification and honour that is intended to be placed on our bodies for his glory.
God has raised up our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ from the dead, and will raise up us by his own power and shall change our vile body and make it into bodies liken to his gloriousness. What an awesome glory that Jesus Christ was raised from the dead: and we as his followers will also one day have the honour to be raised up; For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality (1Corinthians 15:53).
